Accordion Book
I designed an accordion book based off the poem "Each Man For Himself." The design is continuous, focusing on form progression, juxtaposition of images, and type. Later, the design was printed and assembled into an accordion fold as demonstrated in the mockup below.
A Week of Waste
For seven days, I recorded and encoded every single item I threw away. I chose the most relevant trends in my data to be represented through a chord diagram with supporting elements. This project helped me have a higher awareness of my environmental footprint, and I felt compelled to think of possible solutions to reduce this.
As seen below, the largest category of waste was Food, and Plastic was the most common material. My data clearly shows a relationship between the lack of sustainability in the food industry, especially when it comes to recyclability of food packaging.
